ALCANTARA, Pilar peacefully passed while lovingly surrounded by her family members on March 1, 2014 at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Pilar was the devoted wife of Amado for 69 years and the loving mother of Adoracion (the late Recto), Amelita (Felix), the late Arsenia (the late Efren), Angelina (Redentor), Agatona (John) and Alicia. She was the cherished grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Pilar's family invites you to attend her visitation on Thursday March 6, 2014 from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Glen Oaks Memorial Chapel, 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville (403/Dundas) . Her funeral will be held on Friday March 7, 2014 at St. Christopher's Catholic Church, 1171 Clarkson Road Mississauga at 11:00 am to celebrate her life-long legacy of love.
