TAUTRIMS, Zora (Howenka) December 10, 1931 - July 14, 2013 Passed away peacefully in Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on July 14th, 2013. Zora grew up in Grande Prairie, AB on the family farm, later to attend Shaw's Business College in Edmonton. After receiving her diploma in Business Administration, she moved to Toronto to begin a career. There she met and later married Klaus Tautrims on April 2nd, 1966. Zora is survived by her husband Klaus, sons Glenn and Brian, their spouses Liane and Charlotte, and her five grandchildren Ryan, Zoria, Matthew, Monica and Christopher. She is also survived by her sisters Leda Coleman of Calgary and Vera Dube of Bobcaygeon. Zora is predeceased by her brother Robert and her parents Peter and Pearl. Not unlike her parents before her Zora was a pioneer; balancing the challenges of career and family, in a time long before it became common. Zora will be remembered for her love of gardening, cooking and being an avid reader. The family wishes to thank the many friends and staff at OTMH who were so supportive during her time there. Friends and family will be received at Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville (905-844-3221) on Thursday July 18th from 7-9pm and Friday July 19th from 11am-12pm with a memorial service to follow at noon in the chapel.
