MELANCHOLY DEATH. - John Henderson, farmer, was found dead near the residence of the Rev. Mr. Alexander, near Norval, on Saturday, the 8th inst. There was an inquest held by Dr. Wright, Coroner, of Georgetown, on the Sunday following. Verdict of the jury - That the deceased, John Henderson, came to his death by falling from his sleigh, and being smothered in the snow, while under the influence of liquor, and exposure to cold.
The deceased leaves a wife and three children to mourn his loss.
